01 / Platform Overview

The Signal Intelligence Platform.

SECTION 01

iViu Insights has been developing scalable indoor positioning technologies since 2013. Our platform delivers real-time, high-accuracy solutions that support safety, security, analytics, and business intelligence across critical infrastructure and commercial environments. Designed for easy deployment, it combines precision with reliability.

At the core of our system are patented Wi-Fi sensors, called iDTags™, which anonymously detect and collect data from Wi-Fi-enabled devices such as smartphones. The iViu Positioning System automatically adapts to environmental changes, eliminating the need for constant recalibration. Installation is simple: plug in a sensor and connect it to the network.

Our end-to-end architecture — spanning hardware, firmware, algorithms, and software — provides precise location detection and actionable data insights. iDTags are strategically placed throughout facilities. Powered by standard outlets or Power over Ethernet (PoE), they capture Wi-Fi signals hundreds of times per second. Each detection logs an encrypted record of time, location, and a unique device fingerprint (UDID), which is securely transmitted to the cloud for processing and analysis.

For environments requiring network isolation, iViu supports certified third-party cellular gateways — including Ubiquiti Mobile Routers, Cradlepoint, AT&T SmartHub, and other off-the-shelf solutions.

02 / Deployment & ROI

Rapid installation. Immediate return.

SECTION 02

Typical Deployment

  • Rapid installation of discreet sensors across the perimeter and high-interest points
  • Plug-and-play: PoE or standard outlet — no calibration cycle
  • Self-adapting positioning system — no rebaseline after layout changes
  • Daisy-chain capability for low-disruption rollout

Operational Impact

  • Immediate reduction in false positives and faster incident resolution
  • Reduced on-site guard costs via virtual guard escalation and automated deterrents
  • Encrypted UDID records — securely transmitted, fully auditable
  • Sub-meter accuracy from a single sensor pass
